Boost Your Immune System in 3 Simple Steps!!
What are signs of a weakened immune system? Unfortunately, any thing that feels less than your optimal self, then likely your immune system isn't in tip top shape? You might be experiencing brain fog, frequent infections (like colds or UTI's), dull appearing skin, aches and pains, and a whole host of other things.
Luckily, you can boost your immune system fairly easily with a few simple tips. Plus, I will let you in on my natural antibiotic "secret." This is what I use prophylactically when I'm traveling, especially on airplanes and it's also what I use if I feel like I'm coming down with a bug. Literally...within days, my symptoms are usually gone!!
Alright, let's get to these boosts!!
1. Start your day off by alkalinizing your body!! You can easily and quickly do this by squeezing some lemon juice into a nice tall glass of water. Drink this first thing as you wake up. It will hydrate you after MANY hours of no liquids as you've been sleeping, PLUS it gives a boost of alkalinization. Remember, "bad" stuff can't grow in an alkaline environment. Amp it up by drinking a blended green juice or a high quality green juice powder. If you aren't making your own, I recommend Organifi Green Juice...it's the tastiest I've tried thus far.
2. Cut out the Immune System Weakeners!! Did you know that most of the "bad" stuff that is causing all of your aches and pains feeds on just a couple of things?? Guess what they are? Sugar and acid!! We addressed the acid in step #1. Now, let's talk about the sugar. If there is ONE thing you can do to improve your immune function, get rid of any bad bugs or candida, stop feeding any potential cancers and prevent energy crashes, it's to NIX The Sugar!! There's no excuse these days...there are so many wonderful, healthy alternatives to sugar. The one I use the most is called Lakanto Monkfruit. It tastes JUST like sugar, you can use it for baking, it's zero calories and glycemic index (hint: great for diabetics) AND it exhibits some anti-cancer properties. Make the commitment to get remove ALL sugar from your house...yep...TODAY...and substitute a healthier option to keep your immune system ramped up and fighting the bad guys!
3. Try a Natural Antibiotic. Nature has provided everything we need to heal right on this beautiful Earth. Some of the most powerful antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal agents are available naturally via herbs and essential oils. Oils such as Oregano and Tea Tree powerfully kill off parasites and bugs while still maintaining the integrity of the gut.
